I am now the big 3-0! Yesterday was my birthday and I enjoyed a great day of stitching. It has taken me forever, but here is a picture of what I started last month. I have been working on this only since I started it. That is going to change today.. so here’s my pic. This pattern is from Joan Elliot’s book – Cross Stitch Sentiments and Sayings. Of course the picture does not do it full justice – the colors are exquisite. And, I’m delighted to have finished three sides of the border already.
For my birthday, Kalonji purchased the Eight Immortals for me. I’ve had my eye on this pattern for awhile, so am very glad to finally have it. When I’ll start it is a whole other story.
And, the website is not back up yet — give me until the weekend and hopefully it will be back up.
