Taneya & Kalonji

Here is my WIP of the piece I’m doing for my boss. I was able to get in a few hours this weekend. I had originally hoped to give it to her tomorrow, but that is not going to happen! However, at this point, all I have left to do are three drawn thread areas. I have never done drawn thread before (only a little bit of hardanger) so wish me luck. I hope to start it tomorrow night.

But this piece has been fun, so I hope everything goes alright.

I also got the Art Deco Welcome framed for my co-worker. I don’t have a picture yet, but will take one tomorrow.

I’m back home! I didn’t get to make a post before I left after all, but we had a great time visiting the boys and family. I unfortunately left the camera at home, so no pictures but we had a great relaxing time. We were able to get all four boys from Sat to Tues. Then, we left Evansville on Tues to go to Louisville, KY and visit Kalonji’s father and stepmother. We then spent last night at a wonderful bed and breakfast to celebrate our 2nd anniversary. This place was beauiful and romantic! Here is a picture of the room we were in – you can click on the picture to find out more about the B&B.

This evening, I will be catching up on my email. Also, I unfortunately left my cross-stitch behind instead of taking it with me, so I am way behind on my piece for my boss. We will see what miracles I can pull this weekend.
