I only have one more week until I move to Memphis – and I’ve hardly packed much at all! I am going to be so busy this week it is going to be a madhouse around the apartment. Fortunately, my sister Kelli will be with me until Wednesday, so she can help with Kaleya while I pack. Then, some of my friends have offered to come over other evenings so I can continue.

This weekend we are at a family reunion and having a very good time. Last night was registration/meet & greet and today we have a picnic in the afternoon and a banquet in the evening. I really enjoy the reunions — this is my stepmother’s family reunion, but we have always been treated as part of the family and it is fun to get together such as this.I will be posting pictures sometime during the week.

My websites are all back online now. Can’t let that happen again — I missed them and I know many of you did too.

Not too much going on with me. My sister Kelli flew in tonite to visit with me for the next couple of weeks. We are of course going to Memphis this weekend, where Kelli plans to get her first tattoo. If she gets it, I’ll post a pic!>p>

Kaleya is gone — the babysitter is taking her to Six Flags tomorrow with her kids. Kaleya travels more than I do. :-)

And, I have started working on my third geisha girl (by Joan Elliott). I went from stitching on one Joan Elliott design to another. I am about 60% done with this geisha, so it would be nice to finish her and actually have a finish in 2005 – we’ll see….

I am now the big 3-0! Yesterday was my birthday and I enjoyed a great day of stitching. It has taken me forever, but here is a picture of what I started last month. I have been working on this only since I started it. That is going to change today.. so here’s my pic. This pattern is from Joan Elliot’s book – Cross Stitch Sentiments and Sayings. Of course the picture does not do it full justice – the colors are exquisite. And, I’m delighted to have finished three sides of the border already.

For my birthday, Kalonji purchased the Eight Immortals for me. I’ve had my eye on this pattern for awhile, so am very glad to finally have it. When I’ll start it is a whole other story.

And, the website is not back up yet — give me until the weekend and hopefully it will be back up.
