Was online earlier today and saw two Facebook comments about an earthquake on the East Coast. Where did I go first for the news?? Twitter of course.  After reading some info there, then I went to CNN and was most dismayed that I had no ability to connect to any live video.

So far, all my family and friends are okay so that’s good.  And, I am tickled by how pervasive social media has been during this.  Some of my social media faves…

Today I sent this picture to Wise Intelligent, a rapper I have been a fan of since 1990.  He does a series of tweets to promote reading and knowledge and so I just had to send it..and, he retweeted it. Yeah!

Oh my! Found this in the Internet Archive tonight and had to post.  Do I love the title of this book or what? This book, Embroidery Work of Every Description,  is a mail order catalog from Yokohama, Japan published in 1910.  Click on the image to see the whole catalog.
