| Notes |
- I have strong reason to believe that these are some of the children of Allen and Della. I know from records that they had at least 14.
- Della was a slave on the Kemp Battle plantation. [2]
- The listing of Sarah as a child is based on the fact that her son Tom has Christopher McNair (son of Rufus & Mariah) living with him in 1880. Christopher is listed as his brother, but perhaps he was his cousin. Also, witnesses at Tom's wedding were an R. McNair and Christopher McNair. The close association with the McNair's (Mariah's husband), suggests the possibility that Sarah was Mariah's sister.
- Added Harriett as a child based on the Jones-Kimbro tree on Ancestry.com. Name & geographic similarities suggest she may be a child of Allen & Della. (12/22/11)
