    • Biographical note indicates his descent from George Koonce, but I can't place him in the tree. Notes that his parents were John Koonce & Mary Fordham. Per JP Koonce gedcom, he is great-grandson of Capt. John Koonce and Catron McQuillen, so I have linked him here for now. (4/18/09)
