    I found this wedding notice among some family papers. Perhaps, someone in the Afrigeneas community descends from these persons:

    Mr. and Mrs. Herschel D. Cashin request the honour of your presence at the marriage of their daughter Minnie Vivian to Mr. Carroll Napier Langston on Tuesday, the thirty-first of July, one thousand nine hundred and six, at twelve o'clock noon, St. Paul's Methodist Episcopal Church, Decatur, Alabama.
