 | Death Notice: Pleasant Hill Times Newspaper - 25 May 1928 "DIED AT ALLIANCE, NEBRASKA"
Harriet Beecher Napier, 71 years, four months and 23 days old, former Pleasant Hill colored woman, died last Friday at Alliance Nebraska. The remains were brought to Pleasant Hill and funeral services by the pastor, the Rev. Glenn were at the Second Baptist Church, Wednesday afternoon with interment in Pleasant Hill Cemetery. Mrs. Napier was the widow of Tom Napier; she had been living with a son, Barney, at Alliance. Her death death was due to paralysis. Her brother, Bill Williams, living in this city, is also a victim of paralysis."
