Will of Jacob Koonce

To wife Martha, land and plantation whereon I now live, 8 cows and calves, featherbed and furniture, 1/2 household furniture, for her life; To son Benjamin Koonce, the half of my land laid off at the upper part, a feather bed and furniture, four cows and calves; to son Jacob Koonce, the other half of my land and a feather bed and furniture; to daughter Martha, a feather bed and furniture; to daughter Sarah, a feather bed and furniture; to son William, a lot in Newbern,N.C., being the front lot; to son Abram, a lot in Newbern and all remaining part of my estate sold and equally divided to my children after my debts are paid.
