Mrs. Thos. K. SPENCER of Tampa, widow of ex-sheriff SPENCER who was dangerously ill at the time of her husband’s death last week, died last Saturday morning. The passing of both parents of a household in so short a time is a very sad occurrence and the family has the kind sympathy of many friends.

Manuel ALVAREZ, one of the proprietors of the Cafe Cantante, died at his residence in Ybor City Saturday morning after a short illness. The funeral was held yesterday morning at 8:30 under the auspices of the Centro Espanol and largely attended.
