J.H. VAUGHAN, for a number of years a resident of Tampa, died yesterday at York, and his body will be brought to Tampa this evening over the Seaboard for interment.  Mr. VAUGHAN was a victim of consumption and left here last Monday to visit one of the turpentine camps in the vicinity of Ocala, thinking that the change might do him some good, but death claimed him before he could reach his destination.  The deceased has relatives and a number of friends in Tampa to whom the Times extends the sincerest sympathy. — Tampa Times

Mr. VAUGHAN died at L. Horne and Co.’s still Monday night, and Messrs. McIver and MacKay prepared his body for burial and shipped it to Tampa.
