Hon. Chas. E. WORTH, one of the most  highly respected and loved citizens of Tampa, died in that city on Monday.  He had served Hillsborough county for a number of years as tax collector, and at the late election was again chosen for that office, but owing to ill health had notified the authorities he would not qualify for the office, and a new collector was hurriedly appointed to that office last week.  A Times-Union Bureau correspondent from Tampa, Dec. 10th says of him: “no death in the county for some time has created the profound sorrow which is expressed over the demise of this faithful official and honored citizen.”
