On Thanksgiving I started yet another project. This one is from Jill Oxton’s Cross-Stitch and is the first thing I’ve stitched from this lovely magazine. I am stitching this for my friend Aimee who visited New Zealand a few years ago. Her birthday is in August, so I am going to aim to have it done for her by then.

Yesterday I sent out two of my TW WIPS for adoption – my StoryTeller and Carousel. I’ve spent a few months thinking about this and I have lost interest in them. So, better for someone else to have them and continue the stitching. They’re going to good people
Today, I plan on working on another TW – I think Noah’s Ark…

Wow Taneya, that is so pretty! I got rid of about 5 UFO’s not too long ago and it felt so good to do so. They were just making me feel guilty and I knew I probably would never finish them. So good for you, I know it can be a hard decision!
You’ve gotten a lot of progress done on that piece, Taneya! All of your WIPs that you’ve posted look beautiful.
That’s such a pretty design! One that I would definetely like to stitch myself.
I love the Jill Oxton magazines, such neat designs. And well done on the adoption of your WIPs; I did that a while back with one I knew I wasn’t going to get to and it felt so good to rehome it!
