At the residence of the bride’s father, Mr. J. E. Tadlock, Mr. Edward Sewell of Union, Hertford county, and Miss Mollie J. Tadlock, of Cashie Neck, Bertie county, Rev. H. C. Bowen, officiating.
This happy couple met only a few months ago, and ripened their acquaintance rapidly into love and matrimony. On Sunday, Mr. Sewell called upon his lady love, and they decided to marry at once; sent for the license and preacher; both came in due time, and they were made one without delay.
