This index contains brief information on items of genealogical interest (i.e. deaths, marriages, births, etc.) that have appeared in the Roanoke Beacon newsapaper of Plymouth, North Carolina. Surrounding counties (Martin, Bertie, Chowan, Perquimans, Beaufort, Martin, Tyrrell, Hertford & Gates) are also represented.

• The information in this database is abstracted from microfilm purchased from the North Carolina State Archives. There are gaps in the microfilm collection, as well as cases where the text is unreadable.
